Deadly Mission Shark

Steve Backshall recruits ten young trailblazers to become future shark saviours. The fate of our oceans' sharks is increasingly uncertain. How can we help? Ten young trailblazers travel to the island of Bimini, in the Bahamas, to discover more. They experience thrilling encounters with reef sharks, nurse sharks and bull sharks in the hope of the ultimate prize - coming face to face with the awe-inspiring great hammerhead! But before Steve and his Deadly Squad can become shark champions, they must tackle open-ocean diving. The volunteers, who come from the Bahamas and the UK, also get stuck into environmental projects in their quest to become shark advocates of the future.
